I.N.P.U.T.® = Intensive Neuroplasticity Utilizing Therapy (Intensive Neuroplastizität utilisierende Therapie)
I.N.P.U.T.® is a special form of treatment based on fundamental scientific findings. It has been developed by us and is currently offered exclusively at our house. (The therapy consists of the Bobath therapy and the manual therapy and is based on the global research findings on the central nervous system). With our therapy we take up global research findings on the central nervous system, integrate the philosophy of the Bobath concept and use the manual therapy if needed.
Who can benefit from this therapy?
- paraplegia or tetraplegia
- traumatic brain injury
- cerebral hemorrhage
- coma patients
- and other neurological disorders
what is I.N.P.U.T.® developed for ?
Within 30 years of professional experience we have witnessed the needs of patients and their relatives in the neurological rehabilitation. Research findings were poorly put into practice. The duration of rehabilitation was reduced. This has encouraged us to develop and offer a comprehensive concept of intensive care. Today we are the leader in this field. Our success is documented and scientifically supported.
What is our concept based on?
It is mainly based on the current knowledge about the plasticity of the central nervous system, the practical therapeutic experience in the neurological field, the philosophy of the Bobath concept and on the experience with the manual therapy.
with I.N.P.U.T.® we develop
Our own concept of new treatment methods especially designed for clients with paraplegia and tetraplegia, stroke, traumatic brain injury and other neurological disorders with the goal of restoring neurological functions considering the neuroplasticity of the central nervous system.
An interdisciplinary team gives the client intensive support during his rehabilitation of motor, cognitive and language functions. It‘s a personal training in neurological therapy!
Therapy frequency per day/week
Since there is no doubt about the positive effects of a higher therapy frequency for neurological disorders, our clients have an individual motor training of 3-8 hours per day/5 times a week in a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 client:therapist. Some therapeutic situations (e.g. standing, walking, climbing stairs) can require more therapists.
