Results of rehabilitation research show that a high frequency of therapy sessions of at least five units per day lead to a concrete and long-term therapeutic success. The sessions contain for example two hours of individual therapy and daily group sessions as well as nutrition counseling in some cases. The possibilities of intensive therapy allow us to create an individual treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals.
The high frequency of therapy sessions enables us to integrate your wishes, needs and interests into the therapeutic process and to put them into practice. Our focus lies on the recovery of your mental and physical performance so that you are able to master everyday tasks and social participation.
After a careful medical assessment of your condition at the beginning of the intensive therapy, we create an individual treatment plan together with you and your family members. Depending on your physical and mental condition, we set the goals in a resource-based manner.
- Aphasia (language disorders)
- Dysarthrophonia (speech disorders)
- Dysphagia (Swallowing disorders)
- Verbal apraxia, buccafacial apraxia
- Apoplexy and cerebral bleeding
- Traumatic brain injury
- Degenerative diseases like multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Parkinson’s disease
- Hypoxic brain damage
- Apallic syndrome
We focus on you and your goals, values and emotions. Through this holistic approach, we do not only see your symptoms but you as a whole person.
