Our Zentrum der Rehabilitation

Ruud Geerlofs and Daniela Dorschner-Geerlofs developed together the unique concept of I.N.P.U.T. and still give guidance and advice to the family successor Marco Dorschner. Together with our members of staff, we keep working on our concept and constantly incorporate new findings in neurological research.

We believe in the possibility that clients with neurological dysfunctions are able to regain their motor control. Within 30 years of therapist training and practical treatment experience with clients suffering from neurological disorders, this believe has not changed. The contrary is the case: The positive results of the research projects have strenghtened our faith in the possibility of healing motor dysfunctions in these clients. Based on our philosophy, it is our goal to make available all therapeutic interventions which enable clients with neurological deficits to recover. With the foundation of our Zentrum der Rehabilitation, we have made it our personal task to individually accompany our clients during all stages of recovery and to actively support their healing process. It is our firm belief that our therapy offers can enable every client to improve his or her quality of life.

The focus of our therapy program lies on the intensive therapy I.N.P.U.T. which is based on the latest neurological research as well as on findings on the central nervous system.

With this type of intensive therapy we can restore lost functions in a considerably shorter time than with traditional therapies. This means that our clients achieve measurable success faster than with conventional therapies. They can actively take part in life and have a better quality of life.

Our competent and experienced therapists of the different specialist fields exchange ideas with each other and the nursing staff so that we can offer you individual support and training options for all aspects of your life with the focus on more independence and autonomy in everyday life.

According to the Bobath philosophy, we have the motto: As much help as necessary, but as little as possible. We see you as an equal partner in dialogue and training with whom we develop individual goals for your everyday life. This way, we create optimal conditions together to restore your motor functions, cognitive skills and language function as necessary.

We can offer a “personal training” especially for clients with neurological disorders with daily therapy sessions of at least 3 to 8 hours and support in a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 (client:therapist).

We encourage and challenge you to make sure that you reach your goals.
